I go to Alberta frequently, as I have family there in both Calgary and Edmonton, and of course, they always want to show off their home province. So I have visited the dinosaur museum in Drumheller, and you should too. There are the Badlands further south.

First Time Visitors to Alberta
First-time visitors head in two directions. First, a day trip to Drumheller to learn about the dinosaurs. Most head west to the Canadian Rockies and the town of Canmore, Banff National Park (and Lake Louise), and a drive along the Icefields Parkway to Jasper National Park.
