I frequently visit the mountain regions just over the Alberta border, as I love the outdoors with all the hiking trails, lakes, waterfalls, and wildlife. Then, too, the Okanagan Valley has a long lake surrounded by wineries, many with restaurants serving fine food.

First-time Visitors to British Columbia
Explore Vancouver and perhaps head along the sky-to-sea highway to Whistler. A second option is taking BC Ferries to Vancouver Island to visit Victoria, the Gulf Islands, and further up the coast to Tofino and Pacific Rim National Park.
